I am the queen of finding a last minute outfit. I received an invite to attend the Simply Stylist blogger conference this past Saturday. Having gone last year, I knew that I wanted to slay for my life again this year. But ya girl had NOTHING to wear. I literally had not idea as to what I was going to wear. So I headed out to the mall and wasn’t really finding anything that was speaking to me. Until I walked into Lane Bryant and found this jewel tone printed circle skirt from Lane Bryant. My whole outfit came together in the dressing room of Lane Bryant.

This Kinsley choker tee I bought from Fashion to Figure a couple months ago. I’ve worn it quite a few times and I knew the second I tried on this skirt that this top would be perfect for this look. This top also comes in 2 other colors; green and red.

I must say this printed circle skirt came as a surprise to me. I found it in the clearance section and Lane Bryant was having an extra 20% off. So you know it had to come home with me. I was immediately drawn to the very vibrant color. I was really feeling the jewel tone vibes of this skirt. Then I found out that it had pockets. You all know how I feel about pockets on skirts.
I will say with this printed circle skirt, do size up because it has no stretch what so ever. I actually have on the 22 and really love how it fits. I normally wear an 18 in my skirts. But the 18 was entirely too tight and was short. But this skirt is so worth the buy.

On to my boots! I was so happy with these over the knee boots FINALLY became available on Fashion to Figure’s website. If you are looking for a great wide calf over the knee option, you might want to get these boots. They are 100% worth every penny. However, for me, I struggled with these boots, because I don’t have wide calves, so these boots were literally drowning my legs. I had to keep pulling them up and I tied the elastic so tight that it started to hurt lol. But if you have wide calves, I promise these boots are for you.
