How to wear Fall Layers

I’ve always wanted to do a fall fashion look featuring fall layers. I’m just not good at it. Layering an outfit properly, I think, is an art. One of my blogger friends Sandra from La Pecosa Presocia is awesome at doing layered looks. But while on set with Gwynnie Bee yet again, I tried on this super cute Rachel Roy shift dress and fell completely in love with it. So I made a point to closet it the second it became available. As always don’t forget to sign up for your FREE 30 Day trial with GB. You’ll want this dress in your closet.

For this look, I wanted to create a layered look that was functional. I took a simple ivory turtleneck from FullBeauty, I paired it under this Rachel Roy dress. It’s chilly here in Jersey and NY so wearing a sleeveless dress is just no the wave. I’m such a fan of Rachel Roy’s plus line. I think it fits great although I do suggest sizing up in this dress.

To top of my layered look I added this amazing sleeveless vest from Simply Be. They have some amazing outerwear options. I’m 100% obsessed with this vest. It’s so luxe. Despite not having sleeves, it does keep my torso area warm. I thought this vest was super chic and is sure to amp up any outfit.

And of course, you know I had to rock my Fashion to Figure over the knee boots yet again. I promise they aren’t paying me for these looks. I’ve just been dying to get these boots in the mail. And now that I finally have them, I plan to rock these babies out. What are some of your fall fashion must-haves.

Happy shopping and I’ll see you in my next post.

xoxo
Shay
