We made it to the last day of Holiday Week! Merry Christmas Eve! I knew I wanted to end this week with a bang. When I saw this Monif C sequin flapper dress, I knew this would be the one. Monif C and here team were kind enough to send my this dress and I can’t lie…ya girl was feeling herself. This dress is definitely for the girl that is not afraid to turn heads. If you’re looking for a NYE dress or a birthday dress, this should be on your list for sure.

I knew I wanted this last look to be a serious showstopper and this Amber sequin flapper dress from Monif C was 100% what I was looking for. It’s fun, it’s bold and it’s sexy. My legs were on full display and y’all know I love that. I have on a 1x, which for Monif C is 14/16. Typically I wear an 18/20 in other brands. Monif herself suggested that I size down and I’m so grateful that I did. I was a little skeptical that it would be too snug, but it fit just right.
I will say though, the sequins on this dress were quite annoying. they got caught in my hair when putting it on and taking it off. So I would be very mindful when buying this dress. It’s also quite short. Standing up it’s fine but when I sit, my secret was all the way out. Despite all that, it is worth the buy.
You all are probably sick of these shoes already. I know! But they are so perfect and they go with everything I have. And I mean come on, they’re ultra sexy. I purchased my shoes from Shoedazzle. I had a VIP credit that has been sitting in my account for about 3 months. When I saw these black pumps, I know they were worth using my credit. I’m ready to show out for NYE!
