Astra Signature Plus Size Romper

I always love to see the glow up of my blogger friends. I was all to eager to get this post up because it’s all about celebrating my blogger boo Crystal of Sometimes Glam and her new plus size clothing line Astra Signature. She debuted her collection at the Curvy Expo during Full Figured Fashion Week 2017. If you follow me on Instagram you know I tried on a few of the pieces from her collection. But the one piece that really stole my heart was this beautiful pink romper so I knew I needed to get in it my closet asap! You should know me by now, but the color of this jumpsuit is beautiful. It’s bold, but doesn’t over power the woman wearing it. And I must say my melanin is POPPIN’ in this romper!

What I love about this romper is the skort vibe it has going on. The front panels  are super cute and definitely help with camouflaging the awkward moment when the shorts of your romper ride up between your thighs. Ya’ll know what I’m talking about!!!

I opted to not wear a bra with the romper (these are the moments when my little C cups come through for the win) and it felt GREAT! After adjusting the straps, I felt secure and supported. The material is really high quality and felt held in, so 2 thumbs up to Crystal. I do think the romper is true to size. I purchased mine in a size 18 and it’s perfect.

To finish off the look I paired the romper with these snake skin sandals from Ashley Stewart. I scored these babies during one of AS’s many samples sales, they were only $5! Total when for sure. The bag is actually a basket from Ikea. It was a last minute touch I added while shooting with photographer Myah of Mjones Imaging. The straw basket paired perfectly with the shoes, but didn’t overpower the romper. I’m obsessed with the final look! What do you think?
