What I Wore to TCFStyle Expo

What I Wore to TCFstyleExpo

Hey Loves,

I am fresh off my trip to Atlanta for 3rd annual TCF StyleExpo. If you follow me on Instagram (@thickgrlscloset) I posted all about my trip on my IG stories. Know thing I was heading to one of the best plus size events in the south, I knew I had to slay. Thanks to the awesome people at Fashion to Figure they came through for me in the final hours before boarding my flight to ATL. In case you missed it, check out What I Wore to TCFstyleExpo.TCF Style Expo is a 2 day event. Friday comprised of a brunch panels, fashion shows shopping and a networking mixer. So I need 2 different looks; one day look and one night look. Saturday comprised of brunch, more panels, epic shopping and performances so I need one day look.

Look 1 is this beautiful hi-lo cutout maxi dress. I have been eyeing this dress for the longest and I was so happy to finally get my hands on it. I was perfect for the first 1/2 of my day as well as my panel. It’s light and airy and I love that it shows a hint of skin through the cutouts. I opted to not wear a bra because of the spaghetti straps and it was the best choice. Of course if you need to wear a bra, you absolutely can.

Dress| Clutch

Typically I’m not a fan of high/low hems, but this dress was just to gorgeous to pass up. If you like your dress to flow effortlessly in the wind, this Nadiya hi-lo cutout maxi dress is for you. As for my clutch, it is also a gem I found out Fashion to Figure. I love the very casual vibe it gives and I especially love the pom-pom details. Since I found this clutch, I’ve been on the hunt for other straw clutches. I found this Beach Hair Don’t Care clutch from Rebecca Minkoff on Amazon

Look number 2 was for the VIP mixer Friday night. After checking into my hotel, I showered and threw on this sexy little number. When I saw this mock neck caged keyhole dress instore, there was no question that it was coming with me to Atlanta. It’s comfortable and super sexy with a hint of sensuality.

Dress

Always love seeing how long my hair is….

Details!

For my 3rd look I wanted a simple summer dress and this Summer Vineyard Strapless Flare Dress fit that to the TEE! It’s simple and literally easy to throw on and go. It felt like I had nothing on, which was perfect for the Atlanta heat.

Dress| Clutch| Shoes

As for my shoes, you all should be familiar with them because I’ve worn them a million & one times since I’ve purchased them from Amazon. These Vince Camuto mules have been my summer staples. They are comfortable and goes with so many outfits. They were worn in my latest outfit post, you can check it out here.

Thank you to Fashion to Figure for providing these looks for me. Everything single dress was perfect for my weekend in Atlanta and I couldn’t be more grateful show up and show out in my FTF fashions.

Let me know which look is your favorite. See you in my next post.

xoxo

All of these pairings are beautiful, and you pull them off effortlessly. I do really like the first dress though – something about orange-y colors is just so nice to me 🙂
