Hey Loves,
I spent the weekend in Philadelphia so of course that meant finding yet another hotel. However the Sonesta Hotel in Philadelphia is not just another hotel. A cozy little home away from home, Sonesta provided comfort and relaxation with a little bit of luxury. There are tons of hotel stay options in Philadelphia for you to choose from. However, this post is all about the 6 reasons why you should stay a Sonesta Philadelphia, check them out below.
Comfort & Style
The team at Sonesta Philadelphia was kind enough to allow us to stay in one of their suites during our stay. The queen size bed was plush but not super soft, which I like. The couch in the living space is a pull out, so it’s perfect for groups traveling together. Or those that like to have a little extra room in their hotel rooms. The suite features a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave & Keurig. As you can see, really great lighting.
Great Views
We were on the 24th floor. However, hotel rooms started on the 9th floor, so everyone has some sort of view of the city.
Killer Bathroom
I’ll be honest, hotel bathrooms are something I’m super picky about. Considering I love a good hot shower or a hot bath, a nicely laid out bathroom is must for me. The suite we stayed in offered beautiful his & hers sinks as well as a glorious walk in shower. This bathroom was right up my alley.
Great Décor
From the lobby to the art bar to the hotel rooms, Sonesta Philadelphia’s décor is something out of an art gallery. Creative pieces of art come in many forms; paint canvas, interesting furniture and fun colors. Every inch of the hotel has the potential to be a conversation pieces. For me personally, I love hotels that have fun lobbies. It makes want to actually leave my room and experience other parts of the hotel.
Helpful Staff
Having been to Philly only a handful of times, I didn’t have a clue as to what to do. The concierge was kind enough to reach out to me during my stay to help me narrow something places to consider going to during my stay. During your stay, be sure to talk to Fran, she’s the total plug; food, shows, tours etc. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our staff was comfortable as possible. It’s little touches like that, that really make a difference for me during my hotel stays.
Access to Endless Food
We all know the obvious food choice when going to Philly! The first night we did go to both Geno’s & Pat’s for cheesesteaks but I know Philly has A LOT more to offer. There are upwards of 50+ restaurants within walking distance or a short Uber ride from the hotel. There is quite literally a restaurant to fit everyone’s taste buds. If you’re looking for a laid back option, the Reading Terminal Market is 6 blocks away and has quite literally endless options for food!
I enjoyed my stay at the Sonesta, I definitely plan to go back for another weekend in Philly. Check out their site for pricing and availability. Let me know what you think about the Sonesta Philly and I’ll see you in my next post.

Thanks for sharing! I haven’t been to Philly, but will look to this hotel first when I plan a trip. The bathroom looks nice, and L’Occitane is a very nice brand as well.
Also: LOVE that it’s so close to so much food! I love to eat, so proximity to good eats is always a must for me.
