Day 4 of holiday week is touching something is a total classic. The little black dress. I firmly believe that every fashionista needs to have a LBD. A black dress is something that you can never go wrong with. You can find endless uses for a black dress. This ruffle front lace black dress from Simply Be was a perfect addition to this year’s holiday week. It’s sexy and fun, but yet still classic and simple.
I couldn’t get this dress in the mail fast enough. I was in love with how it looked on the model online and I knew I needed it to be mine. The dress fits so well and is super comfortable. It is form fitting and love how it shows off my legs. You all know that is a major plus for me (even when it’s cold).

What I also love about this dress is that if you wanted to, you throw a skirt on top of the dress and wear it as a top. If you’ve followed my blog for some time, you know I’m all about getting double wear out of my dresses. If a dress can be tucked into a skirt, I’ll do it in a heartbeat. It’s a perfect option for those women like me who are on a budget.
I paired this dress with these amazing red booties from shoe dazzle. I was on the hunt for some show stopping red botties for this holiday season, and when I came across these online my heart stopped. They are very bold and very much in your face. I thought these booties pair so well with this dress because while the dress does have lace & ruffles, it’s still minimal enough to not clash with the booties.
