Festival Ready w/ Neiman Marcus Last Call

Festival Ready w/ Neiman Marcus Last Call
Hey Loves,
Fresh off the heels of Coachella and with a host of other summer festivals on the way, I’m sure many of you are trying to figure out what to pack and wear while out & about. Because I know I am. Afropunk I’m coming for you!!! For this post I teamed out with Neiman Marcus Last Call to bring you a couple festival ready outfits. Let’s take a look.

For this 1st look I wanted a fun casual boho chic look. I went with this Lace trim top from Cirana Plus. I love the lace detailing on this top, love how it fits around the bust and flares out at the bottom. It gives a casual & girly touch to the look.

I paired this top with a simple pair of denim shorts that I had in my closet from Fashion to Figure. If you don’t want to wear shorts & prefer a pair of jeans I also picked up a pair of NYDJ jeans from Neiman Marcus Last Call as well.
For my shoes, I went with these Elliott Lucca Woven suede slip on‘s. I was immediately drawn to them online. Unfortunately these are not wide foot friendly but I still wanted them to be a part of this post anyway. I did like that these went up to a size 11 and most certainly can be worn with a number of other outfits during the summer. These are a nice pair of flats to through on, but keeps you looking ultra chic. I can’t lie though, the cobalt color is irresistible.
For my 2nd look I wanted to feel like a flower child. I picked up this JWLA by Johnny Was dress. Online it didn’t wow me, but once I got it in the mail I really fell for it. I loved the crochet detailing on the front, as well as the unfinished hemline. It totally fits with my flower child/carefree vibe I was going for with this look. I got this dress in a 2x, but a 1x would’ve been better because the dress is cut rather big. However I still love the relaxed fit of this dress. It’s super simple so it leaves room for me to add accessories as I see fit.
To go with this dress I picked up these Neiman Marcus lace up sandals. I got them in brown because I know I would be able to wear them with a number of other outfits through the summer. And the lace up trend is definitely in, and I don’t see that changing any time soon. For some added fun I threw on the these simple sunnies and added a couple of flowers in my hair. I was a carefree black girl while shooting this look. BLOOP!

What is your go to festival outfit? Let me know! Happy shopping. See you in my next post.
xoxo
