I get asked this question all the time. What is in my make up or beauty bag. So one day I decided to give you all a peek inside. To start I have quite a few beauty bags, I split them up between my face bag, my lip bag, and my brushes. But for this post we’re going to dive into my face bag which also ends up being my everyday beauty bag. I tend to have some random things pop up in my beauty bag like tampons…U by Kotex of course!

Foundation!
Honestly I don’t know why I like to carry around my foundation, but I always have it on hand. Use the cream foundation from Black Opal. I find that it gives me the best coverage being that I have extreme hyper-pigmentation due to my acne scars.

Press Powder
I’m someone that gets rather oily & shiny during the day, so keeping my press powders close to me is  a must, so I don’t look like a grease box by 5 o’clock

Eye Brow Pencil
Being that I’m someone that likes to fill in her eyebrows, I like to have my pencil and brush handy just in case they begin to fade. Which never really happens but still better have it & not need it, than to need & not have it . As my mother would say. I have used many brow pencils, but the Brow Wiz from Anastasia really is the best.

Blush
Pretty self explanatory right? Sometimes we just need a little pick me up color on our cheeks.

Mascara
I’m making it a point to actually use mascara. This Maybelline mascara is my everything so I make sure to have on hand.

Lippies
Of course it’s always a must to have the lip color that you have on, with you in case I want to add some more. I have come to be a little bit of lippy obsessed. My current obsession is Heroine from MAC. It took some time to get it, but now that I have it, I’m wearing this out lol

U By Kotex Tampons
Yes that’s right I carry tampons in my make-up bag. I know some of you are like ewww why. But lets be real, you never know when it’s time to pay the rent. And I mean honestly we’re all familiar with who U By Kotex is right?! But they are ALWAYS a staple in my beauty bag.

I love that their tampons are super discret so its easy to toss in the bag. And for us girls that are always “on the go” having that kind of protection gives me a piece of mind. And even if I don’t need, we’ve ALL had that moment when our homegirl leans in & says “hey do you have an extra tampon” right?! right?! lol

Compact & Sponges
I think my favorite compact mirror is the one from Sephora. I love that they put them in their gift cards. And of course I have my beauty sponge. Which we all know what that’s for.
