There you have it loves. I hope you enjoyed this post. Be sure to check out my Cute Heels 3 Inches & UNDER post for more shoe options. Happy shopping.
Now if you’re like me and wear a size 11 shoes (or larger) finding cute shoes in or size can be rather difficult. But I think I have a solution for you. I was contacted by this really awesome shoe company, called Upper Street. Upper Street decided to collab with stylist Nicole Smallwood on a new ready to wear collection for women with larger feet.
How awesome right?! You all know my struggle sometimes, the size 11 and up always gets the ugly frumpy shoes or if the cute styles do come in our sizes, they only have a couple in stock and sell out super quick. What I love about this line, all the shoes are super chic and timeless. So you can wear them through multiple seasons and still be on trend.
“The shoes that Nicole has designed are a beautiful assortment of luxurious staples with a contemporary twist that will fit perfectly into this winter’s wardrobe and last for seasons to come. Styles are available up to size 44 and come in a range of heel heights in 2 different width fittings. Alternative sizes, materials and heel heights can be made to order.”
The price range is a bit steep but I can tell it’s definitely worth the price. A good pair of shoes is always worth a bit of money.
To see more of the collection head to Upper Street’s website. You want be disappointed. Until next time loves.
So recently within the last couple days, I have been going on a print binge. I find myself gravitating towards anything with an aztec print or a geometric print. Granted it’s definitely a trend for the summer. But a lot of my recent purchases include something with a really strong print.
But the truth is print is very fashion forward and chic. Now I don’t advocate for full on print outfits, because only certain people can pull it off the right way. I am not one of those people. But pairing a printed shoe with a basic suit, or top and bottom. You allow for the shoe to be your statement.
Some times a nice printed jumpsuit with a black shoe and statement jewelry can do wonders.
And who doesn’t love a bandu top. Ladies don’t get it twisted, we can wear bandu tops, just know the difference between chic and tacky.
This is the final installment of the Turn heads at prom Series. So If you have been following me for some time you know that my heart beats for a great pair of shoes. I could care less where I buy them as long as they are of quality, they fit and are super sexy. Since we have talked about different dress options, the shoes are just as important. Find the right shoe, just makes you feel so good on the inside. It’s like you just can’t wait to get dressed lol. Personally, I’m not the one to always follow trends, I feel like if the shoe is super sexy, then it needs to be on my feet lol. So some of the options that I have below are just some ideas to consider. whether your dress is long or short, you still want to have that pop.
Lets get into it…
How many of us hate when mother nature forces us to wear items of clothing that just totally clashes with our oh so great outfits. My issue i when it rains. I do love the rain boots I already have, however they just don’t work when I’m heading to work in a great skirt and top and I have on rain boots with rainbow peace signs on them lol I know you all know what I mean.
Henry Ferrera already offers great options in footwear for men and women. But he took on the idea of re-working how we wear rain boots. Being in NJ and frequently working and walking around the city of NY I have seen many people wearing these adorable ankle rain boots. So you know I went on the hunt to find out all I can about them.
It’s time we bridge the gap between from fashion and function. What do you all think? Until next time.
I enjoy seeing major designers having an open mind and allow the average woman to purchase their designs. For the past year and some change Lela Rose has been one of my favorite designers. Particularly in her shoe designs. I think she really has an eye for mixing colors, textures, and prints. Her shoes are about making a statement; which speaking from experience, they do just that. Her fall collection keeps with what I’ve come to love about her.
I personally own the yellow strap pumps. They are super comfortable, which is also a staple in Lela Rose designs. She is now and forever a part of my choice of designers.
I love summer, cause that means time to buy some new clothes and of course sandals. I have been seeing the Dolce Vita sandals all over the place. And of course the fashion lover I am, I would love to own a pair. HOWEVER! I’m not spending $69 on a pair of sandals. So imagine my excitement when I found a very similar pair at Target for only $14.99. I just had to snatch it up! I ended up getting a pair in pink which I wore on Thursday and in black which I wore on Saturday. For the #win!
I love high fashion, but my pockets aren’t there yet lol so I will continue to admire and fine alternatives lol
Until next time
