FFFWeek Outfit Reap - A Thick Girl's Closet

FFFWeek Outfit Reap

2:09 PM

Hey Loves,

Last week was really a wirlwind. Between Full Figured Fashion Week & The Cuvry Con, I had to change quite a few times. As hard as it it, & as tiring it can be, I love planning outfits, I love forcing myself to step out my comfort zone and to look my best. FFFWeek brings together us bloggers, industry heavy hitters, writers, models, designers and MOST OF ALL you guys! I finally get to meet some of you who read me & follow me. I still think it's crazy that you guys actually read me & care about what I wear...it is an incredibly humbling feeling.....But enough of the mushy stuff lol Let's check out all my looks from FFFWeek & The Curvy Con.

My week started on Wednesday at the annual All White Cruise. I look forward to this event, because it's so much fun, and I get to feel fancy for a few hours. I have to give a HUGE thank you to Fashion to Figure (particularly the Livingston Mall location) they always get me right. This is the 2nd year that Fashion to Figure was provided my white cruise outfit. I'm so grateful.
For this look I wanted to be super sexy. So I picked this pencil skirt with this zip up crop top. NO THIS IS NOT A DRESS lol I made sure to show some leg & bring the girls out!

Friday was my longest day. For my 1st four events I went with this casual look that worked well for the ultra warm weather. I 'm currently obsessed with this bandeu top & draped kimono from plus size line Harper & Liv. They are definitely added to my summer wardrobe. I paired them with my white skinny jeans from Fashion to Figure. I love white jeans in the summer time.

Oh & can we please talk about this necklace from the Marla Wynne Collection?!?! When I saw this beauty in my gift bag from her press preview, knew I would wear it with this outfit. And come to find out, I wasn't the only one with that thought. Both Gwen Devoe & my blogger boo Darlene (Suits, Heels & Curves) wore the same necklace & looked amazing.

Friday night, I then headed across the bridge to Brooklyn to hang with Eloquii & the creators of The Curvy Con Cece Olisa & Chasty Garner at their kick event. Now it is only right that I wear my favorite Eloquii skirt...The Tucker Skirt. I paired it with this tribal print zip up top from Ashley Stewart. Both pieces were perfect for the beautiful summer night overlooking the Manhattan skyline.

Now on to my FAVORITE outfit of the week. My look for the 1st ever Curvy Con. In the words of Bey & Nicki...I'm Feelin Myself. I'm so grateful for the the people over at Rue 107 for gifting me this skirt. i've had my eye on it for a few months now, but needed the right place to wear it. Once I had the skirt, all I need was a top & shoes. So I ran to Fashion to Figure (shirt) & Torrid (shoes) to complete my look.
