Of course you all know when you go on vacation an island, bringing your favorite bathing suits a must. I was very proud of myself for bringing only 2 bathing suits. That's mainly because I knew I would only have 36 hours to be on the beach & poolside. Lately I have really been loving Always for Me swimsuits. I had the opportunity to be a part of a photoshoot with them, and they are really growing on me as a brand. For this trip I brought along the Veranda Tankini & the Diamond Geo bikini. I'm completely obsessed with both bathing suits so it was fitting that I wore both of these while hanging out pool side.
I was gifted the Veranda Tankini after being a part of a photoshoot with the Always for Me team. I surprisingly fell in love with this tankini. Anyone that knows me, knows I don't really care for tankinis but it was something about the layers of this one that really made me happy.
The top has 2 light weight foam underwire cups. They are so easy to wear and you feel ultra supported. And this top made my girls look amazing, and you all know that is a total win for me!! As you can see I added a belt. Now of course I don't plan to wear the belt in the water, but I added the belt because I wanted to add some contrast to the top. It was a bit to monochromatic for me. But I think it adds a bit of character for me.
This cover up I found on sale at Lord & Taylor. It's from the Design Lab department. That section doesn't do plus size, but I knew this duster would make a perfect cover up. I happen to find a medium and it fit like a charm. I'm sure I'll find plenty of other times to wear this duster.
Can we please talk about how amazing this diamond geo pink bikini is?! When I saw it online, I knew it had to be mine. It does come in blue as well. I also had the chance to wear this bathing suit while on set at the photoshoot with the Always for Me team. I was completely sold.
This pool was everything I needed. My cover up is a little DIY project of mine. I made it to wear to Essie's Golden Confidence pool party. It's a simple piece of chiffon that I cut, threw it over my shoulders & BOOM instant cover up!
