If you’ve been with me for some time now, you know I have a LOVE for Lane Bryant denim. I own way too many pairs of Lane Bryant jeans. That is okay with me because I know I can wear them, washing, travel with them and they will always be in good shape. When Lane Bryant asked me to team up with them to talk all about their new denim, I jumped at the chance.
Lane Bryant has always offered quality denim that will contour your body. Now they have different cuts to fit your style and aesthetic; boot cut, skinny, straight leg etc. Head to their website to see what’s new. I was also asked to host one of their Denim events at the Brooklyn location, which was an honor, because I’ve been an avid shopper of that location for a while now. So I put together a look featuring Lane Bryant Denim and this look is perfect for almost any occasion.
I opted for The Power Pocket Super Stretch Skinny Jeans. I love skinny jeans. They have always been my cut of choice because I like my jeans to hug my body. I was also drawn to the destructed detailing. It’s just enough to be trendy, but not over powering. Which is super important for me. I have mine in a 20, I typically wear an 18, but the denim was quite thick, so I opted for one size up. The waistband does not dig into my skin, and can move in this jeans and I can wear them all day without feeling uncomfortable.
If I could change anything about these jeans, would be the length. If I had maybe one more inch or 2 inches, that would have been absolute perfection. I don’t make a huge fuss because in the cooler months, I can wear boots and in the warmer months, I can cuff them to make the length intentional.
I paired the jeans with Lane Bryant’s girlfriend button up. I’ve owned a number of button ups over the years, but this one has hung in there with me for a couple of years now. It fits me so well, it’s comfortable and most importantly, it does not gap around the bust area. That is MAJOR!
To finish off the look, I added this beautiful baby pink blazer. I have really been into blazers lately and this one was perfection. To be honest it was a little on the snug side, but not too overwhelming. I like the button details as well as the stitching detailing on the back. I like when clothes have a little but pizzazz. It makes getting dressed fun.
