Hey Loves,

This past Saturday me and my love went to a baby shower brunch for one of his co-workers. It was held at the Norwalk Inn up in Connecticut. It was super cute, it was held in the outdoor greenhouse, and we couldn't have asked for a better day weather wise. So for the occasion I wanted to be "festive" cause for some reason I never equate fall colors and baby showers. I always feel that spring/summer colors "go with" baby showers lol So I pulled out ole reliable...my green tunic. I wore this into the ground during the summer





This is the reason why I love tunics (or long tops) they are always very transitional. I paired this top with my leggings, and a simple boot, it's simple and casual but still put together for a baby shower. This was my favorite piece in summer, shorts and sandals and I was ready to go. But for the fall, leggings and a pair of boots, works just as well.

If you follow me on instagram, you know I posted a couple selfies of my face & and hair. I decided, once I washed and retwisted my hair, I out a few braids in and let it dry, and they come one crinkled like this. It's been a long time since I've done my hair like this, and I love it.
