I figured I would throw this post up. I was kind of feeling myself when I shot this outfit. Really my hair was the inspiration for this look. I had the pleasure of walking in the 1st Brooklyn Night Out Fashion Show and the hairstylist gave me this AMAZING hair style. She slayed this look in like 20 minutes. So before I took it down, I had to shoot an outfit with it.

I can say this was something different for me. Ya'll know I'm used to something that is a bit more form fitting. Typically I don't like pairing jackets like this with such loose fitting jeans. But I think it was something that would force me out of my comfort zone. And I'm pretty damn proud of myself.
These jeans are soooooo comfortable. I got them from Lane Bryant, if you remember I wore these to the Chalk it Up event I hosted for Lane Bryant. I did get them 2 sizes bigger so they can be baggy & feel like real 'boyfriend jeans'.
Ok look at my hair! I actually really didn't want to take it down. But I had to. I am so in love with it. I love the attention to detail. I usually don't style my hair (cause I'm lazy) but it's always nice to have someone that knows how to work with locs really style it. She took great care of my hair, and did it in a timely manner. The extra colors of hair, went with the theme of the fashion show. Talk about inspiration!
