Modamix Fall Looks - A Thick Girl's Closet

Modamix Fall Looks

8:00 AM

Hey Loves,

I'm excited to FINALLY be posting these looks. If you saw my Modamix Try On video, you know how much I love some of their fall pieces. They were kind enough to send me a few pieces to style. I wasted no time reaching out to one of my favorite photographers Myah to shoot these looks. Modamix has so many great pieces that would easily be a staple in your closet. You can find them at Lord & Taylor both in stores & online. But let's hop into the looks.
My 1st look is very me! I opted for this sleeveless pleated orange top (which also comes in a pretty purple) I paired it with this studded faux leather skirt. The fall time is perfect for wearing tights with skirts. I add my favorite booties from Torrid to complete the look.

This clutch I posted on my instagram is from French Connection. The art work is that of Elain Biss. She is amazing. Be sure to follow her on Instagram. I though this clutch was the perfect touch to my look.
The skirt is very light weight despite the studs. I added this belt from Fashion to figure because I loved how the gold went so perfectly together.

Look 2, you should remember if you watched my try on video. This was the look that really got me excited. I love the fit & feel of the this olive faux leather pencil skirt. It just screams fall. I paired it with this cream color t-shirt.

I was immediately drawn to this top because of the faux leather sleeves & the zipper detailing around the neck.

These lace up pumps were a no-brainer for this look. Beige is such a neutral color it goes with everything. I got this babies from shoedazzle 2 years ago, and are always an option I turn to.

For my 3rd look I went for a bit of monochromatic look. This Olive Shirt Dress is perfect for the professional fashionista. The sleeves feature a nice faux leather trim along with gold details.

I got this amazing bucket bag from Old Navy. I knew immediately that it would "go" with this dress. It's light weight and makes any look super chic. I paired the dress & bag with some beige pumps. Beige pumps are a perfect for keeping outfits simple & chic.

Love the detail on the bag.

NOW can we please talk about this coat! I originally asked for this Asymmetrical Coat in black, but they sent me this blue one, and I am all too grateful! This coat is everything. I just knew this look had to be all about the coat.

I opted for a simple black top and this zipper detail leggings because I wanted the coat to be it! To keep the look edgy I add these. open toed booties from Shoedazzle and a long gold necklace. The coat itself is fierce open & closed. So it's a win/win.
