It’s the age old fight between mother and daughter you never see eye to eye about FASHION!!! She thinks what you’re wearing is inappropriate, and you think what she’s wearing is ALL THE WAY OLD, and heaven forbid you find pictures of her when she was your age…because it can go either way. You either want to snap at her and say WERK!!!!! or you want to scream and burn the picture cause you feel embarrassed by the foolishness that she wore.
Me personally I’ve experienced both situations. But today this post is a *2 snaps in a circle* “YOU BETTER WERK” kind of post. Being that I’m off from work today and was bored, I really wanted to go thrifting but then realized that I don’t have any money #sadface I went to my moms house and something told me to just look in her closet, see what’s there. Now in the last few years my mother has dropped a lot of weight, so she has loads of clothes that she can’t wear any more. And they are taking up valuable space in her closet.
So I went on a little shopping spree in her closet. And came out with some really great things. Now some things do need to visit a tailor, and could use some TLC from a needle and thread, but I’m supa excited nontheless. My mission now is to stock up on some bottoms. I have a lot of tops and sweaters, but don’t have many choices for bottoms. I can’t be in leggings and short skirts everyday, and I need an alternative to regular blue jeans. But that’s besides the point. Check out the awesome things I got from my mom’s closet!!!

Oh how I love shopping in my moms closet. I have found some gyrations things and so have you. I love that lil black dress and the sweater. Can't wait to see you show it off.
This reminded me of my mother's clothes. She's looking down on me pissed as hell that they are still bundled up. She passed in 2009.
