Holiday Week| Office Party

Plus size holiday outfit
It’s day 2 of Holiday Week where I show a week full of plus size holiday outfit ideas. Today we have an office party look for you c/o Lane Bryant. I knew when I thought about the looks for this week, I wanted to include on that is work appropriate or for the girl that doesn’t want to be cover in sequins. The awesome people over at Lane Bryant were kind enough to send over this cutout neckline sweater and this gold jacquard skirt. I’m completely in love with both pieces. And can totally be worn after the holidays

Let’s be honest black sweaters can get monotonous, so I always gravitate toward sweaters that have a little character and fun detailing. This cutout neckline sweater is simple but fun. I can be warm and cute that’s a total win/win. It’s also available in red.
You all should know the obvious reason why I picked this jacquard skirt! IT’S GOLD!!! DUH!!!! But in all seriousness, Lane Bryant’s circle skirts have really grown on me. I find myself gravitating to them more and more. This skirt I thought was perfect for an office (or more conservative) party because it is festive without being over the top. You all I love glam and sparkle, but sometimes I like to keep it simple.
I do have on a size 22, which is not my normal size. I do know that these skirts tend to run small so I do like to size up just to safe. That is my one suggestion for this skirt.
It’s cold here, and normally I’m all for showing these legs off, but the temperature is so disrespectful. So I added some simple black tights with this look. If you would like, feel free to skip the tights.
As for my shoes, I opted for one of my favorite black pumps at the moment. I was gifted these IVELIS ankle strap black pumps by the awesome people over at Nina Shoes. I am so in love with them. They do go up to a size 11, which I was happy to hear. I will say they did take some time to break in. But after wearing them for few days in row, they conformed easily.

Happy holidays loves. Keep up with all of my plus size holiday outfit post for Holiday week here on the blog. See you in tomorrow’s post!

xoxo
Shay
