Glamping & Thangs with Catherines

I’m so excited that I can finally put this post up. Many of you know I got the awesome chance to go Glamping in Montana with Catherine’s and 2 of my amazing blogger friends. Montana is definitely one of those places where you may not think about going to first, but once you’re there, you’re in complete awe of the beauty surrounding you the entire time you’re there. Catherine’s pulled out all the stops and I’m so grateful that I got that chance to have this experience & create awesome memories with some pretty amazing women.

Glamping in Montana with Catherine’s was most certainly an experience I’ll never forget. We stayed at the beautiful Collective Retreats in Big Sky Country Montana. When we arrived, after a great boxed lunch, it was non-stop fun. We got a tour of our amazing tents as well as the beautiful camp grounds, threw on some clothes & took some pics. Because what else do bloggers do?! Right?! It was unbelievable.

For my day one look I went with this Any Wear Ciudad Fringe Cape the second I saw it, I knew this had to be mind. I love anything fringe for fall. It was great for the slightly chilly early evening weather. I paired it with Catherines’ basic black leggings along with the Black Label Embellished Tank Top & these Mid Booties. I wanted to keep this look fresh, cute and casual.

Day 2 was packed full of nothing but fun. We got up bright and early and went horseback riding. The last time I was on a horse, I was in Costa Rica. So I was quite excited when finally found out what we were doing. We spent over an hour riding through some of the beautiful woods of Big Sky with some of the most picturesque views of Lone Mountain. I got to say my horse pako was a real trooper, cause he made it up & down that mountain with me on his back lol

My day 2 look was meant to be cute but completely rustic. I went with this Victoria Peasant top with these denim capris and these Roxbury Riding Boots. Clearly these boots were so fitting for this activity. What’s crazy is, I didn’t know we were going horseback riding when I got these boots in the mail. We took these boots through the ringer, but they held up!

After a fulfilling lunch of poutine, burgers & beer, and a dip the pool, we were on our Hunger Games ish and did archery. I’m telling you, you couldn’t tell me I wasn’t Katniss Everdeen for a hour. First we got a brief lesson on how to load the arrow onto the bow, how to hold it & ultimately how to shoot. Target practice was pretty cool. The real competition started when the 3 of us had to go against eachother for points. No worries we didn’t hurt any animals during the competition, they were foam. I lost to both Meaghan & Nicole, but I’m going to be the bigger person and congratulate them….NOT!!!! lol

After archery we headed back to the camp, changed our clothes because we were A MESS, and head back out to make smores. Nothing will change your life like making smores with resses peanut butter cups. For dinner for our last night together I picked this Soft Focus lace dress. It’s super comfort and clearly goes perfectly with my riding boots. I have to say I love all three of use ended up wearing the same boots to smores & dinner. Great minds….

To say I had a blast, is a complete understatement. Thank you so much to the Catherines team for this trip. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Of all the trips I’ve been on this year, Montana is definitely up there as one of the best. I definitely plan on going back.
