It’s crazy that it’s already day 5 of Holiday Week. This look was put together so last minute, but I am 100% in love with this look. This post serves 2 purposes; 1. I wanted to show a more elegant holiday option. 2. I wanted to show how a skirt I wore in the summer can be perfect in the winter. I wanted to go for a more elegant look and I couldn’t be happier with the end result.
The obvious treasure of this look is my skirt. It is from skirt company Sofistafunk. Their skirts are nothing short of amazing. Over the summer, the designer & owner Ms. Arlinda was kind enough to make me this 50-inch white maxi skirt with a split.
You all should remember this skirt from my Sunkissed post. I rocked this skirt on the beaches of Aruba. As you can see it is perfect for the winter time. And being tall, finding a maxi skirt with this much drama to fit my tall frame is hard to come by. So I was so grateful when she made me this skirt. I do know that Sofistafunk offers TONS of skirt options for tall, short & average height. Also, her skirts generally are one size fits all. But as a plus size girl, I’ve never had an issue with wearing any of her skirts.
My top is actually a bodysuit from Boohoo. I bought it during their black Friday sale and it was totally worth it. I love the off the shoulder look. I totally dig my shoulders. And any top that allows me to show off my tattoo is a winner in my book. It’s stretch jersey material so it’s super comfortable and it was easy to get into. So I can drink the night aways and have no issues in the bathroom. I know I’ll find more uses for this body suit.
