If you follow me on instagram and twitter *cough @thickgirlscloset cough*, you know that I am embarking on a 6 week clean eating and fitness bootcamp. The #pspfit bootcamp challenge is headed by my blogging big sister/mentor Cece Olisa of The Big Girl Blog.
For six weeks myself and 60+ local and international women are pushing our selves to become a healthier us. We have the awesome opportunity to work with nutritionist Abra Pappa and fitness guru Anthony “Tru Dog” Truly. I can honestly say it’s been the best time I’ve had while getting healthy.
Each week Abra gives us food guidelines for the week, along with great recipe options. She’s says she doesn’t just hand out meal plans, because she knows we won’t follow them (she knows me oh so well). Every wednesday there is a conference call so if you have questions Abra is always willing to answer. And every saturday, if you live in the NY/NJ metro area we meet for an incredible 2 fitness/nutrition class.
Trudog makes us sweat for about 45 minutes we get to sit down and talk with Abra for 45 minutes and then have a little girl talk with CeCe.
I know it sounds like a lot but I can honestly say it has been such an experience thus far and it’s only week 3. What I love about this challenge is that not only does help us to get in shape, and give us tools to change how we eat. This #pspfit challenge has created a community of women that are sticking together for a common goal.
So far I have lost 6 pounds and I feel great. Both Abra and Cece are giving us tools in order to make clean eating a lifestyle, not just a trend.
