High Low and Color

Hello lovlies, so I have had the most emotionally stressful 2 weeks of my life. So one of my favorite bloggers and my new bestie Jen of Jasifers Lions Club we went for dinner at our favorite spot California Pizza Kitchen! Those avacado bacon rolls (heaven on a plate) She really awesome and it was nice to get out the house and have fun. And in true blogger style I had to get a great outfit together. So I got these awesome jeans from forever 21. They are super comfortable and perfect for the weather change. And I'm totally into the high low hem shirts. I gravitate towards them for no reason. And you know me, anything sheer makes the world go round! Paired them with my favorite bag, my fave new shoes and some jewelry and I was ready for dinner.

Jeans: Forever 21

I am so in love with these shoes. Shoedazzle is really my new go to place for great shoes at affordable prices. I honestly was against pointed tow shoes, but I couldn't pass up these cap toe shoes. They gave me life when I saw them online and I just knew they had to be in my closet.

She made the perfect arm rest!!

Ok I compromised and got down to her level...even though I couldn't stay lol
Until next time loves

On my 3-peat

So the other day as I was walking around the mall, I made my usual pit stop in Old Navy and my sights landed on this fabulous leopard print top and I just knew I had to have it. I am relatively pleased with Old Navy's fall line up, for the most part. But once I purchased it, I had different types of outfits to wear with this shirt. Nothing is better than versatile clothing. It is super comfortable and can be dressed up or dressed down. Im in the process of getting my fall wardrobe together. soooooo be on the look out!

Street Style

I'm really getting use to networking the blog at random moments in time. As I was out doing some retail therapy today. I made a quick stop in Fashion to Figure. And as I was getting ready to check out, I noticed one of the sales associate had on this incredibly adorable outfit on. I knew in that moment I had to ask her can I take a picture of her.

She did the preppy look very well. That bow tie is everything!

And check out how she wore her leggings...love it!

Until next time ladies

Hues of Blue

So I have been meaning to do a post about this dress I got from H&M like a month ago. I'm so in love with this dress. I had to get it cause it's a hi/lo dress, but how can I forget the absolutely fabulous color! for the #win. H&M is growing on my list of places to always go to. Don't be afraid to try things on in H&M. A lot of their dresses have great stretch that can fit our curves. This dress is actually a large (you you read that right!) But anyway, I paired the dress with my new favorite blue wedges and my blue bag from Call it Spring! So yea I'm all about my Hues and Blue!

Curvy Girls in the City Meet up Event

Last Thursday I had the pleasure of going to a little after work affair called Curvy Girl's in the City. It was held  Bill's Black up in Harlem, and I must say I had a great time. I was a little nervous going on my own, but the ladies that were in attendance made me feel super comfortable.

The host: Precious and Ose

Precious is the President and CEO of Curvy Girlz Lingerie and she created the Curvy Girls in the City group on Meetup.com in order to bring together positive, confident and fashionable women in the city.Check her site here

Ose; much to my surprise, I have stalked Ose's online consignment shop for months now. And made the connection when I was writing this post. Gotta love the blogging world! But any who she offer's vintage wear designed to fit out curves. (I was in love with her pink dress) check her site here

2 of my followers actually recognized me. Best feeling of the night!

The lovely Eddwina Gregg of Eddy & Bri. She was the sponsor of the event. And check her fly mother! werk!

One thing curvy girls know how to do is party!

Precious and Ose will be hosting events like this on a monthly basis. I definitely plan to go to as many as I can. Not just for the blog, but for me as well. It so nice to be out, just hanging, laughing and having a good time with women who have something in common with you.

Be on the look out for future announcements, and looking forward to meeting new and exciting ladies in the future.

Until next ladies
