Hey Loves,

It's been one interesting blogging year for me. Did a lot, met a lot of people. I realized that there are some people in my industry that I've grown closer to and I can really rock with. And some who are strictly smile and hugs at events. This year I learned what it means to be a blogger, and not a chick that blogs cause it looks cool.

Style wise I think I've grown, I've been forcing myself to try new things, new shapes, new cuts and new designers or brands. So this post is a mash up of my favorite 13 looks from this year. So Lets get to it.

The title kind of says it all. NO I WON'T STOP THIS BLOG.But starting in 2014 I am creating a very informal blog for my health journey. It will be called Shay SHAPES Up If you all have been following me for some time you all know that I have been working out and make the choices to be a healthier Shainna. So that blog will be a place for me to store all my gym pics, food pics, recipes, and workout ideas.
It will also be a place for me to discuss why I work out and why I eat healthy. And to talk more about what #PSPfit is. Since a lot of you tend to ask what it is and how you can get started in it.

I just wanted one central place to keep everything and if I need to look back I know where to go. I would love it if you all would support me and follow that blog as well.

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas. I know mine was pretty amazing and blessed. I received gifts beyond my wildest dreams. And I couldn't be happier. But I wanted to come to you and show you all my look that I wore for Christmas. This look will also be a part of my Winter New Year Lookbook that I'm putting together. Thanks to the great people at Herbal Essences, I have the awesome opportunity to review their newest Naked Kit. Yup it does say Naked, and the hashtag is #GetNaked ha win! But anyway. At 1st I was reluctant to agree to try the kit, because as you all know I have locs. Their advertising generally doesn't include people with hair like mine. But something in me said, give it a try. Let me start by saying this...I am freezing taking these pics and if I get sick, it's totally for you guys lol This morning I work up to more snow outside my window. So when I thought about shooting in the snow, I got up right away to take these pics. It was a struggle though I must say. Because there was ice under the snow. So needless to say heels & ice never mix. But by the grace of God I got through and got these shots for you all cause I loves ya!!!

This is just a quick post. Nothing too crazy. Today as a proud brother of Alpha Phi Omega, we are celebrating 88 years of Leadership, Friendship & Service. So on today I wanted t make sure the world knew what letters and principles I stand represent. Since 1925 we've been upholding Frank Reed Horton's vision and 88 years later we had hundreds of thousands strong across the world. We are the largest fraternity in the world and we plan on keeping it that way.

You know what I find interesting, how or excitement and taste for what we want for Christmas changes as we get over. And most of the time gets significantly shorter. As I thought about what I want this year I came down to a few things. One thing I know, I don't need anyone to buy me clothes or shoes. I have ENOUGH of that. And I started thinking of things that would beneficial to me. Check them out below.

1. Money/A Job
Many of you know I've been unemployed for some time now. And those close to me know how hard I've been working to find a job. Being unemployed just doesn't work for me lol

2. Gift card to MAC or Sephora
I've been getting into make like heavy lately. I want to invest in new brushes, a few eye shadows, and a couple other things. And well know that MAC & Sephora can get pretty pricey after a few items. I would be quite content if this is all I got for Christmas this year.

3.Polar Watch
Being that I'm in the gym or working out more, I want to keep track of how many calories I burn during my routines or classes. I'm sure that there are other heart rate monitors on the market, but Polar is one of the best.

4. Class Card to Vixen Workout
If you follow me on Instagram you know I recently attended my 1st Vixen Workout class at Pearl Studios in NY. I can honestly tell you it's one THE BEST classes that I've EVER taken. You literally sweat from beginning to the end. Everything on me has been sore since I walked out of class Thursday night.

5. 50mm Nikon
This one I can live without if I don't get it. But it's one of those stretch wishes lol You know the kind you hope someone is nice enough to buy, but you'll be cool if no one does. I've officially been on #teamnikon since I got my new camera back in June. Now I want to stay with Canon. I've fallen in love with 50mm after seeing the amazing affect they have. But I'll continue to be hopeful.

So there you have it loves. My Christmas list. Much smaller than my 8 year old self . Whats on your Christmas list this year?

This one is a triple whammy. I just hope Kelly knows how much I love her butt for taking pics in the cold and rain for her. Today was the last day to submit outfits for her Fall Fashion Faceoff. I had 3 more outfits to shoot and I wanted to make the deadline. So I sucked it up shot all three looks while trying to stay warm. I hope you guys enjoy them.

If you follow me on instagram you all know that last night I worked it out with Cece and some of my blogger boos at an awesome aqua fitness class at NYSC. I have to say I was quite intrigued when I got the invite for it. And of course we all showed up and showed the hell out. It was a good time.
